Project Avatara (Phase 2) aims to collect a comprehensive dataset that captures a wide range of human movements, expressions, and appearances, enhancing the realism of virtual reality experiences.
In a recorded session, you’ll mimic facial expressions, read sentences aloud, perform basic movements, and more. You’ll be wearing different outfits (e.g. winter clothes, undergarments) and accessories while doing these tasks.
Rate:

The project authentically representing people of all shapes, sizes, and abilities is essential for creating truly inclusive virtual reality experiences.
To achieve this, we gather data from participants wearing various outfits, including undergarments, to accurately capture natural body movements and proportions. Your participation plays a vital role in setting a new standard for inclusivity in virtual reality technology. Whether you’re a student, stay-at-home parent, professional, or retiree, we welcome you to join our research study.
