Your primary language in CrowdGen will be your first language, also known as your “mother tongue” or “native language.”

You may, of course, speak more than one language with equal fluency. You can add your other languages and your proficiency level. When selecting a language, you will also need to choose the Dialect Country in which you know the language. For example, you can know Portuguese from Brazil, Portugal or Angola, and that is what you should choose on the dropdown. Your proficiency level can be selected from ‘Basic’ to ‘Native’ (see below definitions to help you know what level you are) and you can choose if that level corresponds to Spoken, Written or proficiency in both. Note that you are free to edit additional languages yourself, just go to your CrowdGen profile page and click on “Add languages”:

Be sure to add all your languages with their proficiency levels – this will maximize the number of projects you are eligible to apply for and work on.
