No – any time that you spend preparing for or completing qualification tasks is not billable and should not be included on your invoice. Any time spent preparing to be or becoming qualified is non-billable time including, but not limited to, reading qualification guidelines, practicing or completing qualification tasks.
Only our longer term or more specialized projects have extensive qualification requirements. We will always ensure that the time you spend on unpaid qualifications is commensurate to the number of potential hours available to you on that project.
To ensure you don’t spend too much time on unpaid qualification we have put in place the following rules:
- Once you complete a language assessment, the results of this assessment will be applied to your profile, so you won’t have to complete the same assessment again
- Quick tasks will never have a qualification assessment
- We will complete the qualification assessments ourselves to ensure they are fit for purpose
- A qualification assessment will never be longer than the task itself.
