You've been shortlisted. Let's get you in.
Follow the steps below to complete your account setup and access the project you applied for. It may take up to 10 minutes — we recommend doing it on a laptop or computer for the best experience.
Part 1 of 3: Create your account
1.1 Find the signup link
Open the welcome email with the subject line “Congratulations, you’ve been shortlisted!” and click the signup link inside.
1.2 Add your details
Enter your mobile number and create a password. Your password must include uppercase and lowercase letters, and at least one symbol.
1.3 Verify your email
We’ll send a 6-digit passcode to your email. Enter it to verify your account and move on to the next step.
Part 2 of 3: Complete your profile
2.1 Add your address
Enter your house/block number, street, city, state, and zip code.
2.2 Sign three agreements
Three documents need your signature. For each one, scroll to the bottom, check “I understand and agree” and click Next. The first document (Master Services Agreement) will also ask for your full name at the top.
This section has a few more steps than the previous ones — you’ll need both your phone and computer ready before you begin.
3.1 Download an authenticator app
On your phone, go to the App Store or Google Play and download either Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
3.2 Connect your CrowdGen account to the authenticator
Open the authenticator app and tap Add Account, then Scan QR Code. Point your phone camera at the QR code on your computer screen to scan it.
If scanning doesn’t work, tap Enter setup key (Google) or Enter code manually (Microsoft) instead. Copy the code from your CrowdGen screen and paste it into the app.
3.3 Enter the 6-digit code
Your authenticator app will now display a 6-digit code. Enter it on your CrowdGen screen and click Verify.
3.4 You're in
Once verified, your dashboard will load with your project front and center. Click on Continue with qualification.

How can I start working on projects in CrowdGen?
If you already have an Appen Connect account, use the same email and password to sign in to CrowdGen and resume your work. If you’re new to CrowdGen, please apply for one of our project openings, and we’ll create an account for you.
Are there any important changes or updates I should be aware of?
We’ve introduced several new features designed to benefit you:
▷ Smart project matching: Complete your profile with details like age, gender, location, and languages to get matched with projects that fit your expertise. The more complete your profile, the better we can tailor opportunities to you.
▷ More payment options: Withdraw your earnings through various platforms, including PayPal, Payoneer, Airtm, Swift, local bank transfers, and more.
▷ Track and manage work hours: Approve your work hours with a single click and request time off by adding personal comments.

I've already set up my payment method in Appen Connect. Why do I need to set up my payment method again?
We’ve switched to a new payments provider to:
▷ Facilitate payments to over 200 countries. ▷ Offer a variety of payment methods, including PayPal, Payoneer, Airtm, Swift, and more.
Since we can’t transfer your previous payment method, we need your help to set up your preferred payment option again.
You can continue using Payoneer or choose from the new options that best suit your needs.
