Earn $50/hr as a primary participant

The session duration may vary depending on the task, and you’ll be paid $50 per hour. Get paid within two working days via a virtual gift card from GiftPay.

Get $50/hr as a backup (repeatable)

Opt to be a backup participant and earn $50 per hour while on standby onsite. If selected to join a session, you’ll earn the same rate as a primary participant.

Get paid to help improve virtual reality experiences

Project Warhol aims to capture a comprehensive range of human movements, expressions, and appearances to enhance the realism of virtual reality experiences.

Solo motion capture while wearing glasses

During the session, you’ll mimic facial expressions, read sentences aloud, perform basic movements, and more.

At certain points, you’ll also wear prototype glasses or goggles while performing these actions.

Compensation:

$50 per hour as a primary participant; $50 per hour as a backup participant (repeatable).

Requirements:

▷ At least 18 years old.
▷ Travel to Pittsburgh, PA (zipcode: 15222).
▷ Comfortable with wearing glasses/goggles.
▷ Perform light movements such as walking, standing, and sitting.

Group motion capture

Join three other participants to engage in various activities, either together or individually in the same room. These may include charades, acting out situations, improv, building paper towers, and more. Each session typically lasts 4 hours, with short breaks throughout.

Compensation:

$50 per hour as a primary participant; $50 per hour as a backup participant (repeatable).

Requirements:

▷ At least 18 years old.
▷ Travel to Pittsburgh, PA (zipcode: 15222).
▷ Comfortable working in a group.
▷ No loose or flowing garments (e.g. dresses, skirts).
▷ Not wearing glasses (contacts are fine).
▷ Perform light movements such as walking, standing, and eating.

You’ll have to go through these steps:

3. Travel to the address in Pittsburgh, PA on your scheduled date and time.

4. Complete the project and get paid within two working days.

As a Primary Participant:

  • You will receive $50 per hour for your session, once completed according to our requirements.
  • A session is expected to last around 4 hours.
  • If your session lasts 4 hours, you will receive a $200 payment.
  • If you need to leave before your session has been successfully completed, no payment, even partial, will be possible.


As a Backup Participant:

  • You will receive $50 per hour, per visit, for the time you are needed onsite before being released.
  • If a Primary Participant slot becomes available for you, the conditions above will apply instead.

All payments will be made via a GiftPay.com virtual gift card, redeemable at over 50 stores across the US and online.
